I was lucky enough to attend the Master Class with Mark Hayes at Sassoon in Santa Monica this last Sunday. Boy, let me tell you. The man is an artist and has now officially become my hair hero (a title I do not hand out lightly!).

Enjoy a few pictures from the class

This was my first trip to London and I didn’t really know what to expect but I left totally inspired!

Well, after many an adventure in London and Paris, I am SO glad to be back home and behind the chair (even though clients act like I’ve been gone for months).

I’ll post a full report and full set of pictures in the next few days. My computer is still on the fritz so I’m having to post from my baby ibook.

Here are a few to get things started.

Sassoon was awesome.

Saejin and I landed in London this afternoon after a long long flight. Being tall is often overrated, especially when it comes to leg room and you are flying coach! :)

After checking into the hotel and discovering that the room was larger than I expected and nicer than I had hoped (when you get discounted you ten to wonder). We went for a walk just to see a little bit of the town and came across Harrods so we went in and had dinner in their gourmet food court. More updates to come!

I found a fun candy bar as a snack!

PS- After a little glitch in the internets last evening, I’m updating today and with any luck this will be posted! Today was the first day out sightseeing and boy are legs and knees tired! I think that we walked a marathon today and a second one is planned for tomorrow.

Today I am heading off to London for Salon International.

So, I though I’d give everyone a little update before I left.

My computer at home (the main one) died so I cannot post the final Transformer Challenge. I am going to get the piggy fixed and then I can post. You guys will LOVE it. Also, the HairGeek videos have finally been edited and will be ready for voice overs, so as soon as I can get them to HairGeek and have her take a look at them her DVD will be available for the Holidays and stuffing the stockings of your favorite hair mavenette (fingers crossed!).

I will post picts from London and a few videos when I get back. I spoiled myself and bought a new camera so I’m itching to use it. The little piggy shoots both HD video and awesome pictures (at least in the hands of a professional so I’m hoping for just adequate pictures! haha)

MadArtist and Presotto will be handling the day to day business so send all complaints to them! :)

I heard from a client (while I was coloring her hair no less) that Katharine McPhee had gone blonde and got all skinny. I decided to give it the good ole’ google search and voila’. In some pictures it looks a little wig like so I’m not completely sold that she took the bottle leap but it looks good on her, but then again she looked FABULOUS brunette!

Hummm…..

For those of you that rember Arsenio Hall had a show on late night tv. He had a segment called “Things that make you say Hummm…” in which things seemed a little fishy.

This is one of those posts. For your examination I offer two pictures taken from a local Target store. Makes you say Hummm….

I was going through my picture box (that’s what people did with all the pictures that they had to develop and print before the invention of digital cameras and store their pictures on their computers) and found a few old school pictures of various hair seminars or classes that I was a part of.

Check out the fabulous hair!

The 1st pict, in my early 20’s while still living in Kentucky, the 2nd picture was taken when I was living in NYC and working for John Dellaria and his product line Ariella.
