Thanks for explaining-you have the patience of a saint. Was it difficult not to get the green SEQ onto the highlighted sections? I know during the shampoo off you must have avoided the green foam from Shades hitting the fresh Oxycur Hi's. Good work. I know what you mean by working alone! We had a great haircutter with us who just moved. Were looking for a cutting stylist. My door is being beaten down by colorists that cut "a little". We need someone that cuts a lot and maybe colors a little. Hard to find right now. Until then, keep doing your thing..at least we can depend on ourselves!

If I were there in your area, I'd come knockin' on your door!

I didn't have a problem with the rinsing the shades because I work from the bottom up as I foil and so rinse that way too. I had my girl turn her head either towards me, or away depending on the side I was rinsing. Since I'm a foiler who folds my packets (I know....), the freshly colored hair was protected during the rinse.

Also....a trick that "I" do when rinsing foils and color; is I try to rinse as much color as I can before the foils...but leave the water running through the hair as I pull the foil packets. This way whatever color is left in the hair is diluted and so the bleached hair doesn't seem to be affected by residual color. Does this make sense? Same for when I work the last section on top. When I do it that way, it just seems to work for me.

I'm pleased that you like what I did Ronnie. Thanks for the boost of confidence.

Your correction looks fabulous and I love the 'trick' about rinsing color and leaving in the foilds until last-I'll definitely start doing that when I want to keep the foils at maximum lightness. That's a great trick and thanks for sharing!

I too fold my foils, and pull them out with the water running the whole time, I have tried not folding my foils and they seem to slip easier, or maybe I am rougher than most when applying color around them...glad to hear that you do that too hairhappy, lol. And I will agree with everyone, the color was amazing, excellent work as always!!
