Curious if there is any way to download this and then watch it? Not sure what I'm trying to say really, lol. I'm only allowed some much bandwidth I believe it's called. But anyhow they said something about downloading after hours so it doesn't effect my service.

Anything you download is counted against your bandwidth, so it won't matter if you watch it "live" or download it for later.

Although, I do believe a live stream takes up MORE bandwidth than downloading for later.

Yes, but he said it doesn't go against me if I download stuff like 11:00-3:00 A.M. I would have to check the hours to be sure of course I'm not up at those times. He said something about a program I can configure to download whatever.

Also isn't streaming worse then downloading? I'm really clueless when it comes to this stuff. I thought that was the point of getting high speed so you could be able to watch stuff like this.

Yes, High Speed is great for this, but what's the point of HighSpeed if you have low bandwidth caps?

For example I get 60GB (yes, that's GIGAbytes) per month, technically. Although I've been HighSpeed forever, and am grandfathered in with my ISP so I have unlimited, which isn't an available option these days.

I'd look into how much upping your plan would cost you. Then you wouldn't have to worry, and you could watch youtube vids (believe it or not there's some GREAT hair education on youtube).

I don't want to steal this thread. Sorry!!! It's just that I do want to watch youtube and programs like HDTV. I waited years to get highspeed and it never came. I have hughesnet which is satellite. I pay $72 a month for 5mg. That's the middle grade, not the lowest, not the highest. Not really willing to pay more and it doesn't change all that much I don't think. I have real highspeed at work if there is such a thing. Again they have set a limit. I have the middle option 5 mg though I only pay $40 mo. Oh well, this is what I pay to surf the web and check email. I can watch youtube but not for long periods of time. I might watch an episode of scissor boy but not more then 1 or it means trouble.

Doesn't your local public library have free high speed internet access?

I've never been to the library for internet so I don't know there rules but they aren't open on Mondays anyway and close at 5:00.

So I take it there isn't a way to download something like this?
